Kashel Char is a Canadian-based author and independent publisher originally from South Africa. She crafts immersive speculative science fiction and fantasy realms. Driven by a passion for deeply emotional, intense character dynamics, her work stands out for high-stakes plots interwoven with spicy romance across M/M and M/F pairings.

To maintain complete creative freedom and ensure high production standards for these vivid worlds, she established Koda Calmz Publishing.

As the principal proprietor of the boutique imprint, she manages the global distribution, digital rights, and publication of the Kashel Char catalog. She operates the publishing house from Canada, blending a rich cross-cultural background into stories of adventure, magic, and romance.
